Microsoft Added FPS Counter and Achievement Widget to Xbox Game Bar Overlay on PC

Developers have also expanded its ability to monitor performance.

At the end of May, Microsoft significantly updated the Xbox Game Bar in Windows 10 – among other things, it added sound settings, a list of friends and other widgets, as well as the ability to customize them.

In October, developers added tracking of frame rate per second to the overlay, and also opened access to a broader configuration of the appearance of the performance screen in the Xbox Game Bar – so, after the update, you can adjust its transparency.

Microsoft also introduced an achievement panel in the Xbox Game Bar – players can view their complete list or open individual trophies. Notifications of new achievements after updating the overlay will come through the Xbox Game Bar instead of the Xbox Console Companion app.
