Minecraft creators announce support for raytracing and a new graphics engine for Bedrock versions

Tracing will appear with a free update.

Support for ray tracing, according to the announcement on the official website, will be available to all Minecraft owners on a PC with RTX line cards that support ray tracing technology.

A free trace update is due out later in 2019. So far, developers are not ready to give an exact date.

In addition to this, Mojang also announced that by the end of 2019, Minecraft on Bedrock platforms will be switching to the new Render Dragon graphics engine. For us, for example, it runs Minecraft Earth for mobile devices.

Render Dragon has helped developers improve lighting and many other effects. The authors will talk more about these changes later.
