In the latest version of the only developing PlayStation 3 emulator, RPCS3, developers for the first time demonstrated the relative performance of one of the most important exclusives of the Japanese console – Metal Gear Solid 4.
For the first time, you can play the game beyond the main menu. The creators of the emulator even managed to disable the lock at 30 frames per second. However, the game still produces an average of 20-25 frames per second in open areas, and is accompanied by all this with numerous artifacts, missing textures and glitches. At the same time, the game was launched on the Intel Core i7 8700K processor at a frequency of 5.2GHz.
Apparently, soon a playable emulation for a comfortable passage of Metal Gear Solid 4 is not expected.
