In connection with the upcoming Destiny 2 move from Battle.net to Steam, developers from Bungie Studios sent a letter to the game owners informing them how much the new version of the shooter will occupy on the hard drive – about 165 GB.
At the same time, on the game page in the Valve store , the necessary 105 GB is still reported – the situation may have changed or additional space will be required for the installation and normal operation of the game.
Currently, the console version of the shooter takes a little more than 80 GB. However, earlier Bungie has already stated that it will not be able to expand Destiny 2 with additions to infinity – including due to the structure of the game. Perhaps it was a question of the impossibility of releasing add-ons without drastic changes in the size of the distribution kit.
Recently, developers have postponed the release of the add-on Shadowkeep and the shareware version of the New Light shooter until October 1.
Profile transfer from Battle.net will be available on August 20, and the next day the game will feature cross-saves between all available platforms.
