Take-Two Interactive issued a report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2020 (April 1 – June 31). The company reported net revenues of up to $ 540 million – this is 46% more than in the first quarter of last year.
The results exceeded analysts’ expectations ($ 310 – $ 360 million).
For the whole financial year, the publisher is planning revenues at the level of $ 2.6-2.7 billion and the profit order is $ 425-454 million.
The report also presents sales data :
• Red Dead Redemption 2 sold a total circulation of 25 million copies – a million more than in the May report of the publisher.
• Grand Theft Auto V has already been bought 110 million times, which greatly helped GTA Online
• Civilization VI, which has become the fastest-selling game in the series, now has over 5.5 million copies sold.
• NBA 2K19 reached nearly 12 million copies sold. According to Take-Two forecasts, the net revenue of the game for all time will be the highest in the history of the 2K sports series.
