Wprost has published an annual top of the hundred richest Poles, and it includes three entrepreneurs from the gaming industry.
On the eighth line top Techland founder Pavel Marchevka turned out to be – his personal fortune for 2019 is estimated at 1.1 billion dollars.
At the 13th and 15th place, meanwhile, were Marcin Ivinski and Michal Kichinski, co-founders and heads of CD Projekt. Their personal fortune is estimated at 670 and 580 million dollars, respectively.
Back in 2017, Ivinsky and Kichinsky occupied 31 and 42 places in the top – then their condition was estimated at 262 and 230 million dollars.
In total, the state of Marcin Ivinsky alone has increased eightfold over the past three years. This was facilitated by the rapid growth of CD Projekt, which followed the global success of the third “Witcher”.
As for Pavel Marchevka, his studio Techland is not a public company, and he owns most of it. Ivinsky and Kichinski, meanwhile, owns about 22% of the CD Projekt in total .
