Leak: Shadowkeep addition for Destiny 2 will be released on September 17 – no previous DLC will be required


The pre-order page ahead of time appeared in the Microsoft Store.

At the time of this writing Shadowkeep became available in digital store, but leakage pointed portal TrueAchievements, publishing the official box art.

Addition to the shooter from Bungie will be released on September 17, while buying the previous DLC will not be necessary – only the basic version of the game. The standard and deluxe editions of Shadowkeep will be on sale, as well as a set from the original Destiny 2, which includes the extensions The Curse of Osiris and Military Intelligence.

Judging by the description from the Microsoft Store, the plot of the players will go to the moon and meet with the former guard Eris Morne, who appeared in one of the DLC to the first Destiny.

In addition, there will be new missions, quests, equipment and location, as well as a dungeon and raid.


The expanded edition of Shadowkeep will include passes for four game seasons and items in the style of Morne – the emotion, the look of “Ghost” and the emblem. For pre-order players will receive additional equipment, including an exotic rocket launcher.

The first teaser for the add-on was found in the files of the PC version of Destiny 2. Subsequently, the information about it was confirmed by the Kotaku portal, also reporting that the game will be released in the Google Stadia streaming service.

The official presentation of Shadowkeep will begin on June 6 at 20:00 Moscow time.
