The site states that Shenmue 3 can only be pre-ordered on PS4 – however, Xbox One was found in the page code . Users also found a console logo, which may appear later next to the PS4 asset. Now, when selecting European countries for the pre-order Shenmue 3 from scratch, the PC icon appears, not the Xbox One.
The developers of YS Net and the publisher of Deep Silver have not made official announcements about Shenmue 3 being released on the Xbox One. The game is scheduled for PC and PS4.
Initially, Shenmue 3 was planned to be released in 2017, but then its release was postponed first to 2018, and then to August 27, 2019. However, in June, the developers stated that they needed extra time to polish the game, and moved the release for another three months – until November 2019.
