Gearbox unveiled Borderlands 3

The most unclassified announcement of all finally took place.

The game was shown after a lot of technical problems on the order of a prolonged presentation. Even the world premiere of the movie happened with the brakes, so the head of the studio, Randy Pitchford, had to ask to include it for the PAX audience once again.

Over Borderlands 3 worked for five years. According to Pitchford, the studio “did everything to release a decent sequel.” Bordelands 2 was released in 2012, so this is the first part of the series, originally developed for Xbox One, PS4 and older versions of these consoles.

More details about the game will tell on April 3. Judging by the previous reports of Take-Two, it should be released no later than the end of March 2020.

  • In Borderlands 3 there will be no “royal battle”, the developers confirmed this immediately.
  • Borderlands 2 VR will receive a free update with all DLC to the second part.
  • Borderlands Handsome Collection will receive a free update of the image and resolution up to 4K for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. PC users are also not cheated.
  • The first Borderlands will receive a remaster with 4K support and a split screen for four.
