According to a rumor that appeared on February 24 at 4chan , Watch Dogs 3 will be released in the fall of 2019, and its action will develop in London. The same source said that Ubisoft is preparing the next part of Assassin’s Creed, code-named Legion – about the Roman Empire by the fall of 2020.
This information would not have been noticeable (4chan regularly produces empty rumors) if it had not been commented on by Kotaku editor Jason Schreyer, who had repeatedly “leaked” information about Ubisoft games more than once.
It later turned out that Schreier’s words applied only to Assassin’s Creed. When the journalist was asked, “is it true what was said about Watch Dogs 3”, he answered using emoji with the flag of Great Britain.

Ubisoft several times hinted at the potential place of the action of the third part of the franchise. For example, a patch for Watch Dogs 2, released in mid-February 2017, added a video to the final of the game, in which there were references to London.
Ubisoft has not yet officially announced either Watch Dogs 3 or the next part of Assassin’s Creed.
