NVIDIA is well known to a wide range of ordinary users for its video cards. But in the world of machine learning, this is one of the most advanced companies. A couple of years ago, NVIDIA introduced a neural network capable of generating people’s faces. And now this functionality is available for demonstration on ThisPersonDoesNotExist.com website – “This person does not exist.”
The StyleGAN neural network, which creates realistic images of people on the site, which actually does not exist, consists of two parts. One part generates faces, and the second part constantly assesses whether these faces look fake.
StyleGAN creates faces, relying on the features of several people, adapts the image to age, gender, facial expressions and many other parameters.
