But it was almost immediately removed.
On April 5, Activision officially announced the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remaster. However, in the announcement, the publisher reported only on the release on Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and no information appeared on the possible output on the Nintendo Switch, which left many fans dissatisfied.
On April 6, a game page with the possibility of pre-order appeared on the official site of the Nintendo digital store in the UK. The price was 39.99 pounds (about 3300 rubles).
This turned out to be even more expensive than pre-ordering Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, for which the company in the same store asks for only 30 pounds.
However, after some time, the page disappeared from the store without any statements from Nintendo representatives. It is not yet clear whether this was a mistake or the game will actually come out on the Switch.
The Spyro the Dragon series was released on various consoles, including portable, from 1998 to 2008, but the original developers of Insomniac Games participated in the creation of only the first three parts (they will be part of the remaster). The players had to control the Spyro dragon, help their kin and pass the local levels with different abilities.
The release of the updated Spyro trilogy is scheduled for September 21.
