Analysts have calculated the sales of Apple smartphones and came to a disappointing conclusion for the company: Americans are unwilling to give money for the latest generation of top iPhone models, preferring low cost iPhone XRs. They turned out to be the most popular in the last quarter of last year.
The iPhone XR accounted for approximately 39% of all iPhones sold, while the iPhone XS and XS Max together accounted for 26%. It is noted that Apple from the very start of sales indicated a higher popularity of XR, rather than older models. However, the company, as usual, has not voiced any exact figures.
It is assumed that the cheaper iPhone XR is not too inferior in appearance and function to the iPhone XS and XS Max, and those who are deprived (in particular, the OLED matrix) can be easily sacrificed due to the price.
Some sources point out that the data obtained by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners is quite controversial, since in the past, analysts from this company were wrong, and the current information was obtained from a sample of 500 people.
