The developers of Hitman will release a collection with remasters of Blood Money and Absolution.

It will be released on January 11th.

Studio IO Interactive announced that it is preparing for release on PS4 and Xbox One collection Hitman HD Enhanced Collection. It will include updated versions of two parts of the series – Blood Money and Absolution, released in 2006 and 2012.

The developers promise that the remasters will work in 4K resolution and at 60 frames per second, and the graphics in both games will improve. Textures, lighting, reflections and shadows will be of higher quality, and management will be made more convenient.

Enhanced Collection will be available only in digital form. Whether the release will take place on the PC, is still unknown.

The release of Blood Money and Absolution on the consoles of the current generation became known in early November. Netizens noticed that both games received an age rating for PS4 and Xbox One.

The last game of the series, Hitman 2, was released on November 13th.
