This was confirmed by the head of the company Hidetaka Miyazaki.
The president of FromSoftware, the creators of the Dark Souls and Bloodborne series, said in an interview with the Japanese portal 4Gamer.net that the studio is currently divided into four teams.
The first, the smallest, is still working on the VR-game Déraciné, released in early November, and the second is occupied by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
The remaining units are working on two not yet announced projects. At the same time, Miyazaki noted that he did not consider the remasters of Dark Souls and Metal Wolf Chaos – they are being developed by the partners of the studio.
The head of the company refused to talk about future games, although he specified that they would be more traditional. Apparently, in the near future, developers are not going to return to something like Déraciné.
So far there is no time to disclose the details, but both games will be quite in the spirit of FromSoftware.
We need some more time. When the projects start to take shape, we will tell everyone about them.Hidetaka MiyazakiFromSoftware President, Game Designer
