The average number of players in PUBG has grown for the first time in almost a year.

It seems that this is due to the release of the “winter” card Vikendi.

According to SteamCharts, for the first time in 11 months, the average number of users and the number of simultaneous players in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has begun to grow .

At the time of this writing, the peak number of online users per day is more than 1.1 million people.

PUBG figures have fallen since February 2018 – due to the popularity of the “royal battles” and serious competition like Fortnite, the action has lost almost 73% of the audience. In November, the average number of players fell to a minimum – 418 thousand people.

However, the situation has changed thanks to the content that the developers added in December. The game has a “winter” card Vikendi, as well as additional “cosmetics” in the Christmas style.

Perhaps interest in PUBG also supported its release on PS4 – the shooter became available on the console on December 6th
