The Monster Hunter: World page on Steam has a Workshop section.

And almost immediately disappeared – perhaps it was a mistake.

On August 7, Reddit users noticed that a Workshop section appeared on the Monster Hunter: World game page on Steam, through which players can share their modifications. However, the community did not have time to rejoice at the support of mods, as the section was deleted.

Capcom has not yet commented on the situation. On July 9, the company’s community manager told on his twitter that the publisher had nothing to announce about support for modifications on the PC.

The release on Steam will take place on August 9 – on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game was released on January 26, becoming the most successful Capcom title.

At the end of July, several previews of the PC version appeared in the network, in which the journalists said that it turned out to be quite demanding of computer power. After that, the authors of Monster Hunter World explained that this is partly due to the fact that the game loads the entire location into memory at once in order to avoid intermediate downloads.
